Do I have to move my clients' existing websites onto Votel?

No. You do not have to design or host client websites in Votel, or use the website builder at all. You can add the website chat widget, a phone number or a form to any site, including WordPress and GoDaddy sites.

Votel recommends working around whatever the client already has rather than disrupting it. Migrating a site is often a headache: many clients do not know their login, or the web designer who set it up years ago cannot be reached. Only host or redesign a site when you need to, for example when a redesign is part of the service you sell. Hosting a client's site in your system does make them stickier, so you can still migrate them if you choose.

Adding a chat widget to a site does require access to that site, so you will need the login for that step.
